Physikit offers white-label infrastructure for clinically validated laboratory tests for the analysis of highly utilised parameters in samples of dried capillary blood collected by laypersons at home or in other non-medical environments. Our mission is to make at-home testing accessible and convenient for all stakeholders in healthcare, empowering providers such as pharmaceutical companies, e-health apps, telemedicine platforms, hospitals etc. to create their own at-home sample collection services from test kits to patient portals.

The tests with at-home sample collection are particularly useful in monitoring of chronic patients, disease prevention and to assess the impact of an intervention (e.g. medication, medical device use, diet, sport or lifestyle change) on the patient with the possibility to collect samples in a real world setting and at multiple time points without the need of medical personnel.

Physikit’s tests are offered as a complete and validated home testing solution together with sample collection kit, kit/sample logistics, analysis and secure, GDPR compliant result report. The analysis is performed by certified clinical laboratories with result reports approved by a dedicated laboratory physician. The reports can be delivered in a wide range of digital formats. The whole solution can be white-labelled with a sample collection kit and result report having logos and brand identity of the customer.

Currently, Physikit serves with its home testing infrastructure several high-profile customers including pharma, occupational health and private clinics.

In addition to commercialising at-home testing solutions, through its partnerships Physikit is also involved in the development of new analytical methods that meet the growing demand for innovative biomarker panels. Our focus here is on multiplex panels that allow the measurement of multiple biomarkers at the same time and generate deep insights into the health status by creating a holistic biochemical data set (omics data) and identifying patterns for specific diseases (disease signatures). These sets of biomolecules can serve as diagnostic, prognostic, predictive, or therapeutic markers for a specific disease.

To always be at the forefront of home testing technologies, Physikit is a part of multiple academic partnerships including Helmholtz Centre Munich, Technical University Munich, EURAC, Medical University Innsbruck and Technical University Riga.
